The Nigerian Tribune’s Tourism Editor, Prince ‘Wale Olapade, has announced the death of his father, Pa Charles Olatunbosun Olapade.
Prince Olapade stated that his father, a retired military officer and community leader, died on July 3, 2024, at 84.
According to the family’s statement, the burial arrangements will start on Thursday, August 1st, at 2 p.m., with a Christian wake at SDA Primary School, Ayede, off Erunmu Road, Egbeda Local Government, Ibadan.
The church service will be held on Friday, August 2nd, at St. Gerald’s Catholic Church, Erunmu, while the body will be interred at his house in Ayede, and the reception will follow immediately at the SDA Primary School, Ayede Model community.
The children, grandchildren, and wife of Pa Olapade are still alive.
