Nigerian-American singer-songwriter and record producer, David Adeleke (Davido) celebrated the king of his hometown, Timi of Ede, Oba Adesola Lawal, in style on his 70th birthday.

The Ede monarch turned the milestone age on February 10, 2025, and Davido celebrated him with a new car.

In a post shared on @Blackxcellencee’s Instagram page, photos of the brand-new SUV Davido gave to the king were shared.

Another photo of the SUV was accompanied by an appreciation message to Davido, stating that Oba Adesola Lawal liked his gift.

It reads: “Thank you Davido, Kabiyesi loves his bday gift.”
