Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, the esteemed CEO of Afia Group and the Mogaji of the Adanla family of Ibadan, is set to be honored as the Giwa Adini of Offa land on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The prestigious turbaning ceremony will take place at the Chief Imam of Offa’s Arabic School in Offa, Kwara State.

This recognition comes through an official letter from the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Salman Husain, acknowledging Adanla’s enduring contributions to the development of Islam and humanity.

The letter reads, “The office of the Chief Imam of Offa hereby wishes to notify you that you are appointed as the Giwa Adini of Offa in recognition of your contributions toward the propagation of the words of Allah and your meritorious services to Islam and humanity at large.”

Sheikh Husain emphasized that this honor reflects not only Adanla’s dedication as an Islamic leader but also his significant role as a community leader.

His tireless efforts serve as a testament to his dedication to fostering a better world for all.
