The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society president, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, SAN, FCArb, has sent a vital Eid-ul-Kabir message to Nigerians, asking wealthy citizens and national leaders to show deep care to those in need.

Speaking during a period of intense financial strain, the prominent leader noted the severe economic challenges currently facing the public. However, he stated firmly that through shared effort, the public will conquer these hard times.

The legal expert and faith leader openly spoke about the heavy financial pressure that ordinary citizens experience every day. Across the country, households are working much harder just to buy food, pay bills, and take care of their children. The rising cost of living in Nigeria remains a primary worry for millions of families who face an uncertain financial future.

Kazeem said: “Many citizens remain concerned about issues affecting their daily lives, including the cost of living, security, social cohesion and opportunities for the future. As people of faith, we must not be indifferent to these realities. We must acknowledge them with sincerity and respond with compassion, understanding and a renewed sense of collective responsibility and purpose.”

He further explained that true faith demands great control, calm patience, and putting others first. These holy days serve to remind everyone of the higher duties they owe to their fellow human beings and the wider public.

Turning his attention to political figures, Kazeem noted that holding a public position is a sacred duty. He urged those in power to serve the public with total honesty. At the same time, he asked ordinary citizens to turn away from deceit, social tension, and any bad behavior that could harm the growth of the country.

“For parents and guardians, it is a reminder of the responsibility to nurture future generations with sound values, discipline and education. For religious leaders and community leaders, it is a call to continue promoting moderation, peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding,” he added.

For wealthy people whom Allah has blessed with comfort and success, Kazeem stated that the holiday offers a perfect chance to support poor and weak neighbours. He strongly advised people to fight against any thoughts or actions that might break the bonds of the country.

He said: “We must choose dialogue over hostility, understanding over prejudice and cooperation over confrontation.”

According to the leader, great countries grow strong only when their people work together for shared goals. He closed his statement by offering warm wishes to Muslims everywhere on this holy occasion.

He said: “We therefore have a collective duty to build bridges of understanding across ethnic, religious and social boundaries.”
