A popular youth leader, Afolabi Tunde, popularly known as Tunde Aluta is dead. He died a day after celebrating his 49th birthday.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain was killed alongside another young Sabitu on Tuesday afternoon in Ogbomoso.
Aluta as he is fondly called was crushed by a trailer around his caretaker, Ogbomoso.
An eyewitness disclosed that Aluta died on the spot while Sabitu who sustained a leg injury died later
A close friend who prefered anonymity said “They both left a bar around Idi Abebe for Agric to collect commission on land in Agric and the accident happened while they returning from Agric.
“We received the news with disbelief but God knows better
Sabitu has been buried according to Islamic rite8 while Aluta will be buried tomorrow around 12
