Toyota’s groundbreaking Mirai, the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell sedan, undoubtedly revolutionises the automotive industry. Its unique blend of sustainability, performance, and luxury sets it apart from other vehicles.

Toyota Mirai will receive technology upgrades in 2024, including new and extended features and functions for safety, security, convenience, onboard connectivity, and entertainment.

The package of enhancements reinforces the second-generation Mirai’s status as a flagship model for the brand and for Toyota’s multi-path technology strategy for reducing and ultimately eliminating carbon emissions.

The hydrogen fuel cell electric powertrain (FCEV) provides smooth, powerful and near-silent performance, with no exhaust emissions other than pure water.

This summer Toyota will supply 500 zero-emission Mirai to support Paris 2024 as part of a fully electrified fleet of more than 2,650 passenger vehicles it is providing in its role as the worldwide mobility partner of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). After the Games these Mirai will remain in service with Paris’ hydrogen taxi fleet.

The Toyota Mirai is indeed a game changer in the automotive industry, and here’s why:

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology: The Mirai pioneers hydrogen fuel cell technology, offering a cleaner, more efficient alternative to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.

Zero Emissions: With only water vapor and heat as exhaust, the Mirai reduces greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to a more sustainable future.

Long Driving Range: A single fill-up provides up to 400 miles (640 km) of driving range, making long trips possible without worrying about running out of fuel.

Fast Refueling: Refueling takes just a few minutes, comparable to gasoline refueling times, making it a convenient option for busy drivers.

Smooth and Quiet Ride: The Mirai’s electric powertrain provides a smooth and quiet driving experience, making it ideal for daily commutes or road trips.

Advanced Safety Features: The Mirai has advanced safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring, which ensure a safe driving experience.

Sleek Design: The Mirai’s aerodynamic design attracts attention on the road, making it a stylish and desirable vehicle.

Government Incentives: Many governments offer incentives for purchasing eco-friendly vehicles like the Mirai, making them more affordable.

Toyota’s Commitment: Toyota’s investment in hydrogen fuel cell technology demonstrates its commitment to sustainable mobility and reducing carbon emissions.

Future-Proof: The Mirai prepares drivers for a future where hydrogen fueling stations become more widespread, making it a forward-thinking choice.
