Oba Adebayo I noted that beyond leisure, the new club will create direct and indirect jobs for young people in the town. The monarch highlighted the need for sustainable economic platforms that empower the local population.

“Such development will not only open Oyo town but also help to employ and develop the capacity of the youth at the town,” the Alara stated.

He further urged other investors to emulate founder and invest in sectors that can engage the youth productively while projecting the cultural and social image of Oyo. The Alara’s blessing adds royal weight to the launch, positioning Klub 1405 not just as a nightlife spot, but as part of a broader drive to grow Oyo’s economy through tourism and entertainment.

Bringing the Lagos Vibes to Oyo Tourism and Hospitality

In her remarks, Mrs Folake Bello, Managing Director of Klub 1405 Entertainments Ltd, a member of Securivision, a part of kwik Internet Ltd group of company said the vision behind the club is simple: bring premium leisure and entertainment to the heart of Oyo. The management team aims to bridge the gap between regional entertainment hubs and local offerings.

“This initiative is to encourage entertainment and leisure. We want to give Oyo town the Lagos club vibes and also create a complete relaxation spot for all and sundry,” Mrs Bello said during the opening.

An Electric Grand Opening Weekend

The two-day event was packed with non-stop activities. Guests were welcomed with premium drinks, themed décor, and hospitality tailored to deliver a world-class experience. Live music performances lit up the stage throughout the weekend, with DJs and artistes keeping the energy high till late. A giant projection screen was mounted to showcase live performances, music videos, and sports highlights, giving guests multiple entertainment options under the roof of Klub 1405.

The atmosphere was described by attendees as electric, with vibrant lighting, sound, and crowd engagement that mirrored top nightlife spots in Lagos and Abuja. Beyond the fun, Fatokun emphasized that **Klub 1405** & Lounge is more than just a club. “It’s about building something that adds value to Oyo. We want young people to have a place to unwind, but also a place that creates opportunities,” he noted.

Long-Term Value for the Nightlife Scene in Oy

Management disclosed that the club will directly employ indigenes across operations, security, hospitality, sound, lighting, and event management. The initiative is also expected to support skill development through training programs for bar staff, DJs, technicians, and service personnel.

Industry observers say Klub 1405 & Lounge adds a fresh layer to Oyo’s growing Oyo tourism and hospitality value chain. By positioning itself as a leisure destination, the club is expected to attract visitors from neighboring towns, increase hotel traffic at Plaza De Aruna, and boost ancillary businesses like transport, food vendors, and fashion.

Fatokun added that the club will host weekly events, themed nights, and collaborations with artistes to keep the calendar active year-round. “We want Oyo people to feel proud of their own. You don’t have to travel to Lagos to get that premium club experience anymore. It’s here now,” she said.

With its blend of entertainment, employment, and tourism potential, Klub 1405 & Lounge is positioning itself as a new landmark for relaxation and social life in Oyo. The management assured guests of top-tier security, customer service, and a safe environment for families and young professionals alike. As the curtains closed on the opening weekend, one thing was clear: Oyo’s nightlife has entered a new era.
