A journalist and blogger, Miss Kemi Olunloyo, has finally been released from the Port Harcourt prison.
The controversial journalist and daughter of the former governor of Old Oyo State made the disclosure today, Wednesday at 12.16am on her Twitter handle, saying, “#BREAKING I have been released from #PortHarcourt max prison by @AsoRock for the 3rd time in 12 mos. See @HNNAfrica on Instagram @angelaquintal @CPJAfrica”
Recall that Kemi Olunloyo was arrested in Lagos and arraigned in a Federal High Court in Rivers State for alleged cybercrime based on a news item she published online believed to have defamed a Port Harcourt-based cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
Concerned individuals and groups have, recently, questioned what they considered undue incarceration of Ms. Kemi Olunloyo.
