In its efforts at reducing the unemployment rate among Nigerians, the federal government has released the link for the application to access the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) aimed at supporting innovative Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 35.
The special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie, made this known on Wednesday, October 14.
The presidential aide noted that the prospective applicants are expected to log in to the website – https://nmfb.com.ng/nigeria-youth-investment-fund/
Recall that the minister of youth and sports development, Sunday Dare, had in August, announced that President Buhari approved a N75 billion fund for the project.
He said the project was scheduled to last for three years, with an expected disbursement of at least N25 billion per year.

Reporters At Large earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has launched the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES), aimed at creating 774,000 jobs across the local government areas in the country.
He restated his administration’s commitment to youth development and poverty alleviation
He promised that the Federal Government policies of social protection and people empowerment would continue on track, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic.
