Adedibu Congratulates New South West Executive, Says It’s A Victory Well-Deserved

The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde in Abuja Liason Office, Hon Hajarat Adetola Adedibu has congratulated the winners in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South West Zonal Congress held on Monday in Osogbo, Osun State, which declared Amb Taofeek Arapaja and other Executives as winners, and newly-elected South West People Democratic party Executives.

In her congratulatory message released from her office, which was made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Adetola said she’s conveying her hearty congratulations to all the winners.

She said, “It is indeed a victory for all lovers of true democracy and indeed the good people of our great party and it’s a litmus test for our nascent democracy.”

Adetola who is the daughter of the late Ibadan strong man politics, Alhaji Adedibu noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is showing that we are coming of age and the stage is gradually looking brighter for future elections for the party.

She commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the deployment of his exceptional political skills to ensure the victory of the former deputy governor of Oyo state as the new PDP Chairman in the South-West.

Adetola said the candidate who emerged as the South-West Chairman, Amb Taofeek Arapaja who had occupied different political office has attested to by the good people of Oyo State has earned him a well-deserved victory, and it’s indeed a lesson and reminder to all political office holders to work in accordance with people-oriented programs at the grass-root levels to bring about the much-desired catalyst for social and economic development.

She said It is her pleasure to congratulate him on his victory as the South-West Chairman of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after months of rigorous campaigns by the various contenders for the coveted position. She rejoiced with him because delegates have spoken in clear terms with their votes, they have placed on him the responsibility of their franchise in trust that he would protect them and their interests within the party.

She urged all the Executives to be magnanimous in victory and the other aspirants should cooperate and work in harmony to hasten development.

She appreciates INEC official in the state, the security agencies and all those that ensured peace and orderliness towards the success of this historic South West Executive Congress.
