FORMER Chief of Naval Staff and a top Kogi State governorship aspirant, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin, on Wednesday, submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the headquarters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abuja.
The nomination form was submitted on behalf of the former Naval boss by top-ranking politicians from the state, led by the Director-General of his Campaign Organisation, Engr. Olusola Olumoroti.
Olumoroti told the leadership of the party that despite the unprecedented number of aspirants from the state, Usman is seeking the governorship with incomparable public and private sector credentials in terms of management of both human and financial resources.
He told the party leaders, “we come with strong leadership skills. We are here with private and public sectors experiences. We have political capital. We have the social network that would be exploited for the good of Kogi people.
“Usman Jibrin has strong managerial character and ideas needed to continue from where Governor Bello will stop. He has quality business strategies to provide jobs for the youth. These are indisputable facts,” he said.
