The founder, spiritual head and grand imam of Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide and the Mogaji OgunElu of the Aare Alasa Dynasty Ibadan, who is equally the Ajagun Esin, religion warlord of Oyo State, Prof. Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP has described the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Mahood Olalekan Balogun, as a peacemaker who wants the best for Ibadanland.
This was contained in a press release he signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan. Prof. Olagoke, in the release, described the respected monarch as a man of destiny who is highly favoured by Allah.
“Oba Dr Balogun, through his early life and all he has achieved in life, is a complete family man who also has the interest of the city, Kabiesi is a peacemaker, and this he demonstrated before his coronation.
“When he was a Senator, Oba Balogun facilitated lots of empowerment for the people of his constituents, while the legacies he left behind were unequal.”
“My closeness to him before he became a Senator allowed me to attest to his administrative prowess, and that is why he succeeded in all that he laid his hands upon.”
While congratulating him on his 80th birthday, Prof. Olagoke prayed that God would grant him a long life and good health so that he could see the Ibadan of his dreams.
