Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the extension of the curfew imposed on 10 local government areas bordering the Old Oyo National Park by 24 hours.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, announced in a memo issued on Thursday.
Recall that the Oyo State government had announced the 4.00pm to 8.00am curfew in the 10 local government areas on June 23, 2026.
With this extension, the curfew, which was to last for 48 hours in the first instance, will continue till Saturday, June 27, 2026.
