Abuja-based advocacy group, Centre for Peace and Self Value Re-orientation, has presented an award to the Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre, in recognition of his exemplary service and integrity.
The award was presented to Ojo-Lanre in his office in Ado-Ekiti by the Executive Director of the organization, Mr. Abraham Oyibo.
In his remarks, Oyibo stated that the group carefully selected Ojo-Lanre for the award following an impressively satisfactory report on his activities since his appointment as the DG of the Bureau of Tourism Development.
“Barr. Wale Ojo-Lanre has demonstrated a strong commitment to service delivery and upholding the highest standards of integrity in his role as the Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development.
His actions, deeds and achievements have not gone unnoticed, and we are proud to honor him with this award as a token of our appreciation and to further propel him in his continuous service to the people of Ekiti State,” Oyibo said.
Ojo-Lanre, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue his efforts to drive the development of the tourism industry in Ekiti State.
