The 7th and 2024 edition of the Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass has been slated for July 16 and 17, the organisers have announced.

It will be held at BDO Offices, Wanderers Office Park, 52 Corlett Dr, Illovo, Johannesburg, South Africa with the theme: “Unlocking optimal economic value and revenues for Africa MICE Destinations and Businesses.”

The Africa Business Tourism & MICE Masterclass is the only pan-African masterclass focused on MICE and business events programme in Africa designed and delivered annually as a professional development and refresher programme by renowned African and international industry practitioners and professionals. Since inception in 2018 over 1500 African industry professionals have participated in this programme.

Strategic partners for the programme include BDO, ICCA, Southern Africa Association of Conference Industry, UNWTO and SITE Africa, South Africa Tourism, and many other partners.

The Masterclass curriculum is diverse and comprehensive. It is always presented by a faculty comprising some of the world’s most experienced leaders and experts in the MICE industry. It will particularly be valuable as there is no such integrated MICE programme offered in Africa. The course is presented over 2 days, and the faculty is selected from ATP’s global pool of experts.
