President Biden and his wife Jill have welcomed Donald Trump and Melania to the White House. They will sit down for tea, before heading to the Capitol.
It’s the first time the pair have met today.

But he won’t announce day one tariffs, an official said.
Ahead of Trump entering office, Biden issues pre-emptive pardons for several figures “threatened with criminal prosecutions”, including Dr Anthony Fauci and officers who testified over the Capitol riot.
