The business mogul and Ajia Balogun of Ibadanland, Chief Adegboyega Adegoke has added a feather to his cap by establishing a modernize and computerize Radio Station in the city of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
He made the disclosure when he organised a dinner with the top Political and Media Chiefs in Ibadan at his Hotel, Channel 8 Premium, Bodija.
In his words, “I established the Solution Fm to add to the economic growth and development of the state in such a way that it will create more employment opportunity in the state.”
Some of the people in attendance include Alhaja Bose Adedibu, the wife of the late Lamidi Adedibu, Former Commissioner of Environment in the state, Bar. Lowo Obisesan, Oyo NUJ, Chairman, Com. Ademola Babalola and his team, General Manager, Amuludun Fm, Niyi Dahunsi, Primate Soji Bakare, Adegoke media aide, Raji Adebayo and a host of others.
Chief Adegboye Adegoke, a Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and alumni member of the University of Cambridge Business School (Cambridge Judge Business School) Advanced Leadership Programme. He has over 23 years of qualitative hands-on experience in financial and strategic management; organizational restructuring and business turnaround. He is an enterprising professional with sound organizational skills.
He trained with Deloitte & Touché (a Professional firm of Chartered Accountants) before moving over to First City Group as Head, Accounts & Operations.
Prior to joining Oando Plc as the Chief Financial Officer of Oando Energy Services Limited (the flagship Oil & Gas Servicing Company) in November 2010, Adegboyega, (a Schlumberger President Gold Award Winner) was at various times and countries the Financial Controller for various business segments of Schlumberger Oil field Services.
Adegboyega, a 1992 graduate of Agricultural Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, has an MBA from ITTL-DRC & University, Phoenix, AZ, USA.
The private station, Solution 93.9fm will be officially opened soon, Adegoke said.
