The family of the late former Governor of Oyo state Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala has released the burial program of the elder statesman and political titan.

The Bobagunwa of Ogbomosoland died on the 12th of January 2022 in Ogbomoso at the age of 71.

The burial program in a statement signed by Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi, Chairman Media Arm of the Burial Committee and made available to REPORTERS AT LARGE revealed that the programme will commence on Monday 14th February and end on 20th February 2022.

MONDAY, 14TH FEBRUARY, 2022
Lecture & Day of Tributes By the Political Class
@ Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre,
Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Final Burial Service
@ Beulah Baptist Conference Ground, Behind Baptist High School, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Time: 11:00am
Interment follows immediately
@ His residence, Opadoyin Akala Lodge, Randa, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Reception & Entertainment of Guests
@ Ogbomoso Recreation Club, Ilorin Road, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

SUNDAY, 20TH FEBRUARY, 2022
Thanksgiving Service @ Oke-Elerin Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Time: 10:00am

The chairman central planning committee Senator Brimmo Yusuff assured that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of people and valuables during the event.
