THE National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, said he is not bothered that some Senators and House of Representatives members dumped the ruling party for opposition parties.
15 senators and 32 members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday defected APC for the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Oshiomhole claimed the ruling party is ānot disturbed at allā describing the members that left as āmercenariesā and people who constituted themselves as opposed to the party.
The party leader said he has no fears and believed the party members defection ahead of the 2019 election would enable the party to concentrate on its campaigns.
Oshiomole said he is assured of President Muhammadu Buhariās reelection and wouldnāt be affected by the loss of party members.
