Sunday, August 25, 2024, will continue to linger in the memory of Mama Olusola Iyabode Ayodele, who clocked 67 years.
Her entire family, living in the United States of America, held a surprise birthday celebration.
The celebration started with the children telling the celebrant to visit her friend, a birthday mate, since the day was her birthday too.
However, on getting to the event venue, the celebrant, Olusola, burst into tears of joy when she saw all her pictures surrounding the event venue, Centenary Plaza Hall, Makun, Sagamu, in Ogun State.
The hall was filled to the brim with who is who in society, clerics, academia, business stakeholders, political icons and a host of others who were invited without informing the celebrant, Madam Olusola Iyabode Ayodele.
The Ministers of God from the Cathedral Church of Rev. Mello, Agbowa Sagamu, officially kicked off the celebration at 2 p.m. with holy communion.
Rev. Jacob Ayedona said the opening prayer and Rev. Gbenga Rotimi read the only lesson for the communion service. Rev. Ayedona offered prayers after the holy communion service, and the celebrant then expressed their gratitude while sharing a special grace.
The master of ceremonies, Sunny White, conducted a special prayer after introducing and anchoring the important dignitaries at the reception. Sunny White then announced the ushering of the celebrant into the event venue.
Following the playing of a special song in honour of the celebrant, sponsored by her daughter, the successful businesswoman from the US, Biola Ayodele, Mc Money coordinated the cutting of the cake.
In the meantime, while speaking with the Queen of Red Carpet, Fola Slim of Apreel1 Events TV, dignitaries lauded the celebrant for her humility and perseverance, which she put up when it was good or otherwise, stating that she endured in making sure that all her children made it in life and prayed for her to live long in good health.
The celebrant, Madam Olusola, expressed her joy to the children God gave her, noting that without them she is nothing.
She thanked them and prayed for them, hoping that their children would also celebrate them.
She also extended the prayers to her in-laws, friends and families, who graced the occasion by saying that tears of joy would not be seized in their families.
