Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the chairman of the Senate Committee on INEC, will be honoured on Monday by the Senate Press Corps with the prestigious “Responsive Representation for Good Governance” award.

In separate letters dated November 19 and December 10, the Senate Press Corps said the award recognised his outstanding contributions to good governance and responsive legislative representation.
According to the Senate Press Corps, the award is a testament to the Senator’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The conferment ceremony is scheduled for Monday, December 16, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall of the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja.
Senator Alli has expressed gratitude to the Senate Press Corps for acknowledging his efforts in advancing the welfare of his constituents and promoting democratic values through effective representation.
“I appreciate the Senate Press Corps for this recognition and invite all stakeholders to join him at the event,” he said.
