Dear Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Lola Ade-John and General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), Alhaji Nura Kangiwa, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.

Some evil reactionaries and retrogressive souls who don’t want the advancement of the brand-new Tourism Ministry and its parastatals will be reactionary to this piece.

Thus, on behalf of the Bureau of Tourism Development in Ekiti State, I am honoured to extend my warmest congratulations to you both on the inauguration of the Mobile Training Kitchen, a remarkable achievement made possible during the advent of the new Tourism Ministry.

It is truly a testimony to the visionary leadership and dedication you bring to the field of tourism. Mrs. Lola Ade John, your appointment as the Minister of Tourism has infused a refreshing aura of accomplishment into the industry. Your enthusiasm and commitment to improving the tourism sector are commendable, and this recent achievement further solidifies your passion to drive positive change.

Equally deserving of mention is Alhaji Nura Kangiwa, the Director-General of NIHOTOUR.

His proactive approach and unwavering commitment to promoting excellence in the hospitality and tourism industry are highly regarded.

The inception of the Mobile Training Kitchen demonstrates his innovative thinking and his relentless pursuit of enhancing the skills and expertise of professionals in the field.

The Mobile Training Kitchen is a significant milestone for the Ministry of Tourism and NIHOTOUR, and it holds great promise for the industry’s future. This state-of-the-art facility will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of tourism by providing high-quality culinary training and enriching the skills of aspiring chefs and hospitality personnel.

Once again, we congratulate you both, Mrs. Lola Ade John and Alhaji Nuru Kangiwa, for this remarkable achievement. We are confident that your stellar leadership and collective efforts will continue revolutionising the tourism sector, bringing about positive economic impacts and promoting Ekiti State and Nigeria as desirable tourist destinations.

We look forward to witnessing the Mobile Training Kitchen’s success and its positive impact on the hospitality and tourism industries. May you both continue to inspire us with your innovative approaches and bring about meaningful change in the years to come.

Finally, I believe that Ekiti State should be on the front burner of the states to benefit from the import of this Mobile Training Kitchen.

Ekiti State has no outlet or training unit of NIHOTOUR and has not benefited from any of its numerous pro-state programmes.

We believe NIHOTOUR is nationalistic in its charter, objectives, mission, and vision.

Once again, congratulations!

Yours sincerely,

Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre, DG Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Governor’s Office, Ekiti State.
